Friedhelm FREEMAN is known for his expressive and colorful art - with a lot of inspiration and attention to detail, he finds most of his motifs in nature and the world of indigenous peoples, which he gives a very special expression to in his pictures, sculptures and statues... !
F. Stankiewitz, 1958 in Gladbeck/Deutschland geboren.
Ich verbinde meine Kunst mit meinen Wurzeln aus solidem, gelernten Handwerk (Schreinerlehre, Lichtwerbung, Airbrush-Autolackierungen, dem Shapen & Designen von Surfboards sowie 400 m2 Fotoatelierausbau für einen bekannten Düsseldorfer Fotodesigner). Dank dieser Erfahrungswerte kann ich heute mit allen Materialien arbeiten. Eine ideale Kombination die meinen Werken nun zugute kommt. Mein Künstlername Freeman verdanke ich übrigens einem Mallorquiner, der mir diesen vor Jahren gab, da Friedhelm viel zu kompliziert war. Kunst bedeutet für mich, meine vielfältigen, kreativen Ideen in die Tat umzusetzen - inspiriert auch durch meinen berühmten Namensvetter,
Richard Stankiewicz.

F. Stankiewitz, born 1958 in Gladbeck/Germany.
I combine my art with my roots from solid, learned craftsmanship (carpentry, light advertising, airbrush car coatings, shape & design of surfboards as well as 400 m2 of photo studio extension for a well-known Düsseldorf photo designer). Thanks to these experiences, I can now work with all materials. An ideal combination that now benefits my works. By the way, I owe my stage name Freeman to a Mallorcan who gave it to me years ago, because Friedhelm was to complicated. For me, art means putting my diverse, creative ideas into action - inspired also by my famous namesake,
Richard Stankiewicz.
